Henry Moore was an English artist born in 1898. He's known for his semi abstract bronze sculptures and his drawings. His sculptures are placed around the world as public works of art. His abstract sculptures are normally the human figure; specifically a mother and child or a female body. He became wealthy through commissions but gave most of the money towards the Henry Moore Foundation which to this day supports education and the arts.
