Banksy is an anonymous street artist, vandal and film director. His graffiti art has a distinct stencil style and a dark humor. He also does political work. Banksy work started out in the Bristol Underground scene. Banksy doesn't sell his artwork or photos of it but art auctioneers attempt to sell it. Recently at an art auction Banksy's piece the Balloon girl sold for 1.04 million euros. Immediately after the piece sold an alarm started and the canvas went through a hidden shredder that Banksy had placed in the frame. I personally found this event to be hilarious and I believe that it made the piece of art a lot cooler.
