Risa Mehmet is a Japanese artist whos illustrations are creepy yet calming. Her artwork has great use of line and shape and color. Her use of either dull color palettes or muted pastels adds to the aesthetic of her work. I love her work because of the offputting feeling it gives you and her attention to detail.
