Rococo
The term Rococo refers to an art style from the end of the Baroque period/ 18th century. The style uses pastel colors, flowing curves and can be very dramatic. The word rococo is a combination of Rocaille and Baroque. Rocaille was a method of decoration used since he renaissance. Some famous painters from he Rococo period are Antoine Watteau, Francois Boucher, Nicolas Lancrat, Jean Baptiste Pater,and Francois Lemoyne.
